At Fegmo, we’re reimagining Product Experience Management (PXM) for the AI era. Our platform uses autonomous AI agents to ingest, enrich, validate, and syndicate product data and rich media across e-commerce channels — from Shopify and Amazon to TikTok Shop and Instacart. We are building a modular, AI-first system that makes product content management autonomous, intelligent, and personalized.

We’re an early-stage startup backed by decades of experience in commerce, AI, and retail tech — and we’re looking for a hands-on engineer who wants to build the next big thing in commerce infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • Build core PIM/DAM modules — product data creation, attribute management, channel mapping, rich media handling.

  • Develop scalable APIs and UI for syndication workflows, AI-powered suggestions, and real-time validations.

  • Own end-to-end features across frontend and backend: UI components, API endpoints, schema design, performance optimization.

  • Collaborate with our AI engineer and product designer to bring intelligent, autonomous features to life — e.g., attribute completion, smart tagging, and AI-powered recommendations.

  • Set up integrations with platforms like Shopify, Amazon, and Google Shopping via REST APIs or CSV/JSON pipelines.

  • Continuously improve reliability and scalability, including large batch imports, media validation, and channel-specific exports.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–7 years experience in full stack or backend-heavy development.

  • Strong expertise in PHP, Symfony, or Laravel OR experience in another server-side language with willingness to work in PHP.

  • Strong command of frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or plain JS with strong DOM + API fluency).

  • Deep experience in relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and designing scalable schemas.

  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, data imports/exports, and modular architecture.

  • Experience with AWS or Google Cloud deployment environments (EC2, S3, etc.).

  • Passion for clean, modular code and lean development practices.

  • Startup mindset: you’re curious, hands-on, and love building fast with purpose.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, Magento, etc.).

  • Familiarity with PIM/DAM concepts, taxonomy/tagging, product lifecycle workflows.

  • Exposure to AI, ML, or recommendation systems.

  • Prior experience at a startup or building v1 products from scratch.
